چکیده

Background
In the nature there are many plants that play important roles to control mosquitoes, but some of these can increased their effect after mixed with another plant. For that, this study aimed know mixture two types different on Culex pipiens mosquitoes in larva stages and process hatching eggs. Materials methods research parsley water extract (Petroselinum crispum) mosses (Funaria sp.) have been taken as ratio (1:1) using concentrations (4.5, 3.5, 2.5, 1.5, 0.5) mg/l from it.
 Results The results show percentage mortalities for C. were (89, 72, 55, 42, 39)%, 62, 56, 36, 38)%, (75, 67, 54, 46, 26)% (77, 65, 63, 40)% LC50 (1.8, 2, 2.3, 1.3) first, second, third fourth stage respectively. While eggs exposed extracts (31, 43, 71, 83)% (3.2) mg/l. haven’t shown a significant differentiation among stages, they level probability (0.05), also positive correlation coefficient negative Conclusion
be killed low concentration mortality increases extract, prevented hatching.

Effect of Certain Plant Extracts on Mortality, Development and Haemogram of Culex pipiens L. Mosquitoes Larvae

The effect of methanolic plant extracts from Solanum nigrum, Acokanthera spectabilis and Heliotropium aegyptiacum were investigated on the larval mortality and development of Culex pipiens L. Also, the effects of the LC50 of the three plant extracts on the larval haemogram were studied. Plant extracts exhibited variable bioactivities. The greatest activity was observed for S. nigrum which showe...

the effect of taftan pozzolan on the compressive strength of concrete in the environmental conditions of oman sea (chabahar port)

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...

detection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts

in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...

Pyrethroid resistance in Culex pipiens mosquitoes.

Mosquitoes within the Culex pipiens complex are widely distributed and important in the transmission of many human diseases. Insecticides, pyrethroids in particular, remain a mainstay for control of these important vectors. In this paper we review what is known about the levels, mechanisms and fitness costs of pyrethroid resistance in Cx. pipiens. Pyrethroid resistance in Cx. pipiens is a globa...
